POETRY; Lift Yourself Down

"Lift Yourself Down"

Lift people up not down.
Stomping smiles to the ground.
Negative heart cleaving things to the ground.
Snide humor; such a hateful consumer.
Round and round this thing heedlessly goes.
Take a moment, try to repose.

Without a regard, to any and all with feeling.
Suffocating ways, transgress so fully.
The depths of such hate, refuse do I to take.
Put forth a good feeling... Revel in such treasures... Hold those close, ever more near!
I chose to see goodness now it fall aside.
Desperately I have tried.

Hurtful of those I love, unmindful of those so dear.
Careless ways are bound to fall into oblivion.
In the end your lose will tear you asunder.
Have you absolutely no pride?
I chose to lift people up and not down.
Now it is I who will laugh at all those frowns.
Try cleaving yourself to the ground!

Just another one of those thoughts yet again...

Sometimes all you need is someone who will actually listen and not cut you off. I guess it is not a huge shocker that  your not worth the time of day. I wonder why some people cannot prioritize the most important things in life.
Maybe that should be a sign...to a once bright and creative person, to wake the hell up AND not just smell the bacon but burn the crap in a fiery blaze of ash. Hopefully then the charred smells will snap me out of my utter stupidity.
